Faith in Action

Faith in Action has a varierty of programs which seek to respond to unmet needs of people who live in poverty or crisis in a way that allows us to serve Christ as we serve our neighborhood. One of the many needs in our community is that people cannot afford to purchase prescribed medications they need to maintain their helath. One of these programs is:

THE PARMACY CONNECTION

This program assists individuals who are uninsured get access to free long-term medications. The staff of this program will help fill out the required forms, contact the physicians's office, get all forms signed, and mail the completed packet to the pharmaceutical company.

We encourge all to let your friends and neighbors know about this program. Many people go without the medications they need because they don't know what resources are available to them. Contact Lori Maggart or Georgia Reedy at 276-628-9801 for more information.

Faith in Action is a pan-denominational organization providing food, clothing, and special assistance to those less fortunate than ourselves, as we were commanded by our Lord.
